ModelingEvolution.WeldingMachine.Megmeet.Plugin 1.2.0

ModelingEvolution.WeldingMachine.Megmeet.Plugin

RocketWelder device plugin for the Megmeet Artsen Plus/Pro 500 welding power source over EtherNet/IP — CIP class 1, exclusive owner, RPI 20 ms.

Registers one device type, MegmeetWeldingMachine_ArtsenPlusPro, implementing RocketWelder.SDK.Devices.Welding.IWeldingMachine.

Self-contained. The EtherNet/IP client and the IWeldingMachine adapter travel inside lib/net10.0/; there are no companion packages to install.

Requirements

A rocket-welder2 host at RocketWelder.SDK 2.15.0 or later. On an older host the install-time pruner keeps this package's newer copies and the plugin load context can conflict.

Install

Loopback-only POST /api/plugins/install with {PackageId, Version}, then restart the app — plugin changes are inert until then. Add the device from the Automations UI.

Commissioning

The welder's front panel must be set before the plugin is pointed at it. None of these is readable over the wire, so a wrong setting shows up only as behaviour: P02 = DN, P05 = ON, N00 = FNE, N01 = the IP's last octet, N02 = 1, N10 = ON.

N10 defaults to OFF and is absent from most vendor guides: with it off, E01 is ignored and the arc never ignites.

Device panel (1.2.0)

The panel rw2 docks on the live preview (the bolt icon) and on /welders/{id} is a control panel, laid out like the Fronius one: a live cluster (current, voltage, wire feed, arc), then Controls and Status. Controls: working mode (all four wire modes, including pulse synergy which the SDK's WeldingMode cannot name — MegmeetWeldingMachine.SetWorkingMode(int)), JOB number 1–99 (JOB mode only), welding START/STOP (E01), gas test OPEN/CLOSED (E09), wire inch FEED/STOP (E10, greyed out while welding) and, while A06 is set, Reset fault (RequestFailureReset(), one E12 pulse per press). Every control is greyed out while the welder is not connected. Current/voltage setpoints are deliberately absent — see below.

v1 scope

JOB mode is complete. The other three working modes are writable but the plugin writes no setpoints (E33–E64 stay zero, requirements Q3: the welder takes them from its JOB recipe), and it raises a warning naming P02 when a non-JOB mode is selected. TargetCurrentSignal reads HasValue == false: nothing in the welder's producing assembly echoes a setpoint.

No packages depend on ModelingEvolution.WeldingMachine.Megmeet.Plugin.
